Amendment 19 to 2024-2033 MTIP and Amendment 2 to 2026-2035 MTIP

The 2024-2033 and 2026-2035 Metropolitan Transportation Improvement Programs (MTIPs) identify state and federally funded transportation investments within the New Bern Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) Area. This Amendment modifies both MTIPs.

This Amendment adds a Statewide project for constructing pedestrian safety improvements as well as adding project breaks for funding for hydraulics and preliminary engineering for miscellaneous projects at the request of the Hydraulics Unit.

This Amendment will enable transportation projects to continue to move through the planning, design, right-of-way, and construction phases. Public comment will be received through October 9, 2025.
