Amendment 18 to the 2024-2033 MTIP

Amendment 1 to the 2026-2035 MTIP - Public Notice

The 2024-2033 and 2026-2035 Metropolitan Transportation Improvement Programs (MTIPs) identify state and federally funded transportation investments within the New Bern Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) Area. This Amendment modifies both MTIPs.

This Amendment adds preliminary engineering and construction in FY26 for various locations of electric vehicle supply equipment along North Carolina’s Alternative Corridors and NEVI planning.

This Amendment will enable transportation projects to continue to move through the planning, design, right-of-way, and construction phases. Public comments will be received through September 18, 2025.
