Amendment 3 to the 2026-2035 MTIP

The 2026-2035 Metropolitan Transportation Improvement Programs (MTIPs) identify state and federally funded transportation investments within the New Bern Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) Area. This Amendment modifies both MTIPs.

 This Amendment adds a Statewide project for various multi-modal planning (M-0570), adding funding for clean energy technology (C-5702E), delaying implementation of isolated closed-loop system signals (HO-0024), and add funding for federal lands transportation program and emergency relief for federally owned roads and bridges (R-5753).

 This Amendment will enable transportation projects to continue to move through the planning, design, right-of-way, and construction phases. Public comment will be received through October 13, 2025.
