2023-2026 PUBLIC INVOLVEMENT PLAN
Public participation in the regional transportation planning process for the NBAMPO is guided by a Public Involvement Plan (PIP) in accordance with federal law. The updated plan outlines recommended methods to engage the public during the transportation planning and decision-making process and informs members of the public how they can be involved. The MPO is responsible for conducting a continuing, cooperative, and comprehensive transportation planning process for all members within the NBAMPO area. Public comment will be received through November 7, 2023.
TITLE VI PLAN UPDATE
The NBAMPO also intends to adopt an updated Title VI Plan. The plan can be viewed here. The public comment period for the proposed Title VI Plan Update began September 29, 2023, and runs through November 7, 2023. Comments on the proposed Title VI Plan will be considered for incorporation into the final document. The Transportation Advisory Committee (TAC) will consider adoption of the updated Title VI Program at their November 16, 2023 meeting.
